Hollywood socialite Madonna is one of the most anti-President Donald Trump celebrities in all of the entertainment industry.
On September 2, the singer announced via her Instagram that she has moved to Europe to work on a slew of new projects and plans to relocate for the foreseeable future.
“The energy of Portugal is so inspiring. I feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!!!” Madonna wrote.
“This will be the next Chapter in My Book! It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point!!” she added.
Fox News reported that a spokesperson for Madonna said the singer “first became infatuated with the country in 2004 after ending a tour there.”
While Madonna didn’t reference Trump in her post, the 59-year-old singer has voiced a strong distaste for the president since he took office in January.
During the Women’s March rally against Trump in January, the pop singer spewed unthinkable vitriol from the microphone.
“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” Madonna said.
Many Trump supporters, and even a few Democrats, were outraged over her violent remarks.
While the Secret Service investigated the matter, nothing happened to Madonna as she strolled back to her Hollywood mansion and continued bashing the president and his supporters.
Its people like Madonna who are so consumed with hate that they fail to realize their protesting and derogatory statements are more divisive than anything Trump has done.
Madonna and anyone else still expressing outrage over the result of the election needs to get over it — Trump won fair and square.
It’s unclear how long the pop singer will remain in Portugal, but at least it seems she’s finally fulfilling her promise to Americans to leave the country.
