One thing is for certain – Barack Obama never had even the slightest of respect for our history, way of life and tradition. The ex-American president tried to get our great nation to forget everything that was once widely recognized as “American” and jump straight in the neo-liberal limbo.
But once again the people of America remind him who we truly are and that we love our country the way it is, without such twisted values.
On the other sand however, our next President Donald Trump has just arrived in the White House and he is eager to take control. He is a powerful and wise man that strives to drain the “snake-swamp” and fix everything that the previous weak leaders before him destroyed and turned a blind eye to.
Barack Obama busted out his own version of the “presidential seal” after he was first elected President back in 2008…
We’re talking about this one…
And this one too…
On the other hand, President-elect Donald Trump has recently used something completely different while travelling on his “Thank You” tour.
Perhaps we can say, he used something far more American in a way…
On his “Thank You” tour in Iowa, he used this one too…
But all of his seals said “USA Thank You Tour 2016” instead of one Trump came up with himself. Trump told the crowd he was keeping a promise by being flanked decorated Christmas trees.
According to reports from The Hill, Trump came back to wish the crowd Merry Christmas and to say thanks:
“SO WHEN I STARTED 18 MONTHS AGO, I TOLD MY FIRST CROWD IN WISCONSIN THAT WE ARE GOING TO COME BACK HERE SOMEDAY AND WE ARE GOING TO SAY MERRY CHRISTMAS AGAIN. MERRY CHRISTMAS. SO, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. HAPPY NEW YEAR, BUT MERRY CHRISTMAS. AND I AM HERE TODAY FOR ONE MAIN REASON: TO SAY THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE OF WISCONSIN.”
He even had a new podium placard made for this particular event:
You can read on the sign:
“MERRY CHRISTMAS, USA. THANK YOU TOUR 2016, WEST ALLIS, WISCONSIN”
But that wasn’t all. He also had a message to go along with it:
If you ask us, it is about time we become traditional again.
