Sarah Huckabee Sanders is BACK! After nearly a month since the last White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sanders returned to the podium ready to take on the room of biased reporters.
During Thursday’s press briefing, questions of the border wall and Afghanistan dominated the period of questioning.
However, in the midst of these topics, one reporter seemed to try and stir up some unnecessary conflict – for no reason of course. He randomly brought up a recent attack on President Trump from GOP Senator Bob Corker.
Last week, Corker released a harsh statement on Trump’s competency for his position. Corker’s mindless critiques made headlines in mainstream media.
“The president has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful. He also recently has not demonstrated that he understands the character of this nation. He has not demonstrated that he understands what has made this nation great and what it is today … and without the things that I just mentioned happening, our nation is going to go through great peril.”
It becomes clear that the reporter was simply trying to mess with Sanders by referencing this particular statement, but Sanders shuts him down completely with ONE AMAZING sentence.
“I think that’s a ridiculous and outrageous claim and doesn’t dignify a response from this podium,” Sanders immediately shot back at him.
Boom! Sarah is back! And she’s not going to take any nonsense from reporters trying to throw our great President under the bus.
These types of questions from reporters are a complete WASTE OF TIME, and it is so satisfying to see Sanders dismiss them so quickly.
