President Obama and radical left-wing “protesters” have been widely criticized for adding fuel to the fire and helping build racial tensions and divisions across the United States.
Many law enforcement officers felt insulted by Obama’s response to the recent police slayings in Dallas, Texas where over ten officers were killed or injured.
Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke clearly felt that way — and he didn’t pull any punches when criticizing Obama’s pandering to Black Lives Matter rioters.
Sheriff Clarke joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures and handed Obama some pretty sound advice:
“He should say nothing. Every time he opens his mouth he fans the flames of anti-police sentiment that is sweeping the country in these urban centers. He reminds me of a pyromaniac who sets a fire then calls 911 for the fire department and then returns to the scene to watch the fire department try to put out the fire.
The best thing he can do is stop talking. Let these things be handled at the local level. The media is going to do enough fanning the flames and creating drama. He doesn’t need to add to it. I am going to continue to fight and resist and push back against this anti-cop president.”
Many conservative journalists are calling for the Black Lives Matter movement to be identified as a hate group — or even as a domestic terrorist group – for creating an anti-police sentiment which led to the murders of multiple police officers.
Sheriff Clarke is among those voices, along with Police Chief Greg Allen, the first African American police chief in El Paso, Texas’ history.
Police Chief Allen blasted the Black Lives Matter radicals, saying, “Black Lives Matter, as far as I am concerned, is a radical hate group, and for that purpose alone, I think the leadership of this country needs to look a little bit harder at that particular group. The consequences of what we saw in Dallas is due to their efforts.”
Liberal media outlets have also helped stir up anti-police sentiments by distorting the truth and fabricating false narratives to sell the public on what happened during highly publicized officer-involved shootings.
Instead of waiting for the facts and details to emerge, many liberal “journalists” propagate violent and hate-filled information which is yet to be verified – or is later debunked as wrong all together.
Will Summer 2016 turn into the American Civil War 2.0? Only time will tell.
But it’s safe to say that racial divisions in America have grown tenser during the last eight years – even more so within the past two months – and still the Obama administration seems hell-bent on making it worse.
